K D Rambhiya Co Chartered Accountants

Our office for K D Rambhiya Co is up on the fifth floor of the Aashirwad Building. We are in 501 A 34, right on Nm Joshi Marg in Byculla West. Being a firm of chartered accountants, you can probably guess what the inside looks like. It is mostly stacks of folders and calculator sounds. The lift in this building can be a bit slow, so a lot of us end up taking the stairs if we are not carrying too much. Mumbai is always loud, and even up on the fifth floor, you can hear the trains and the traffic from Nm Joshi Marg. It is a very busy part of the city. We have been here for quite a while now. The office has that specific smell of old paper and ink. It is not a modern glass office. We have wooden desks and chairs that have been around since we started. During tax season, the place gets even more crowded with files, and we end up staying late into the night. We usually order some food from the place downstairs and keep working. It is a lot of staring at numbers and making sure every column adds up right. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the wall. We just have a lot of calendars and clocks. It is a straightforward place to work. We know the regulars who come by to drop off their books.
