K. D. Kothari & Co.

We are located up on the twelfth floor of Prasad Chambers, room 1215, right in the Opera House area. K. D. Kothari & Co. has been in this building for quite a long time. It’s a very busy building with a lot of people coming and going all day long. The elevators can be a bit of a wait during the lunch hour, so we usually just stay put or take the stairs if we’re feeling brave. Our office is small and filled with files and old ledgers. It’s got a good view of the street below if you look out the window, though it's mostly just rooftops and traffic. We’ve stayed in this spot because everyone knows Opera House is the place to be for this kind of business. It’s not a fancy office with modern furniture; we still use the same heavy wooden desks we’ve had for decades. They’ve got some scratches, but they’re sturdy. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by. It’s a tight-knit community in this building, and we know most of our neighbors by their first names. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on the relationships we've built over the years. It’s a steady pace of work, and we like the familiar routine of coming into the office every morning. It’s simple, direct, and it works for us.
