K B Cabs

K B Cabs is located at Krishna Krupa, number 6, on Sahara Road in Dadar West. This is where we manage our taxi business. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for the drivers to pop in and out. Dadar is always crowded, so there’s a lot of noise and traffic right outside our door. We’ve been operating from this building for quite a while now. Inside, it’s mostly just a few chairs, a desk, and a wall map that’s starting to peel at the edges. We handle bookings for local trips and longer journeys out of the city. My brother and I take turns sitting at the desk. We don't have an app or anything high-tech. If you want a cab, you usually just call our landline or walk in. We know most of the regular customers by their voices. The tea stall next door is where we spend our breaks. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing, and other times it's dead quiet for an hour. We just take it as it comes. It's a basic setup, but it gets the job done for the people around Sahara Road. We don't need a lot of space to keep things moving. We have a small cupboard for the logbooks and spare keys. It’s a simple life, but we like being our own bosses and helping people get around the city when they are in a hurry.
