Jyoti Steel

Jyoti Steel is located at Building No.20, Ishwar Bhavan, on 4th Cross Road in Girgaon. We are right near the Alankar Cinema which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood know. Our space is filled with different kinds of steel rods, sheets, and tubes. It is a bit cramped inside Ishwar Bhavan because steel takes up a lot of room and it is heavy to move around. We have been here in Girgaon for a long time and have seen the area change quite a bit. Most of our customers are local contractors or small workshop owners who need specific cuts of metal for their projects. We spend our days measuring out sections and helping load trucks in the narrow street. It can get pretty chaotic with the traffic and the noise of the city right outside our door. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a traditional steel trading spot where we handle the metal and talk to the people who need it. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the cross road but we manage to make it work. It's a lot of manual labor and the air usually smells like cold metal and dust. We aren't much for fancy talk or slick presentations. We just provide the steel and keep the records in our old ledgers. It is a simple life in a busy part of Mumbai. We are open for business most mornings.
