Jsw Steel Ltd is based out of the Jsw Center in the Bandra Kurla Complex. If you have ever been to Bandra East, you know how hectic it gets around here. The building is large, but inside it is just a lot of people working on computers and talking on phones. We handle a massive amount of steel production details from this office. It is a central point for us. The morning commute is usually the toughest part of the day because of the BKC traffic. Once everyone is in, the coffee machine gets a workout and the day starts. We are not really about those flashy slogans you see in magazines. We just focus on the actual output and making sure the supply chain does not break down. There is a lot of coordination between the different departments. Sometimes the elevators are slow, which gives us a minute to chat with folks from other floors. The windows look out over a lot of new construction, which is fitting for a steel company. We have piles of reports on every desk and the meeting rooms are usually booked out weeks in advance. It is not always quiet; there is a constant hum of activity. Most of the staff here have been in the industry for a long time. We know the ins and outs of the market without needing a manual. It is just about getting the work done and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month.
