Job Jjunction Consultancy is situated in Mumbai, right on Sayani Road in the Prabhadevi area. We are in Room No. 29 on the first floor of the Salamat Mansion Building. It’s an old building, the kind you find a lot of in Dadar West, so it has a bit of character and some creaky spots. Being in Mumbai, it’s always loud outside with the traffic and people moving around, but once you get up to the first floor, it’s a bit more manageable. We do consultancy work, which means we spend a lot of time talking to people about their careers and trying to find them a spot where they fit. The office is small and usually has a lot of papers scattered around because we are always busy with something. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s more of a "get things done" kind of place. We have some fans going to keep the air moving and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Prabhadevi is a busy hub, so there is always someone coming or going. We’ve been in Salamat Mansion for a while and we know the other people in the building. It feels like a small community. If you’re coming from Dadar West, you just head down Sayani Road and look for the mansion. We’re just regular people trying to help other people find work. It’s just how we operate.
