I run my small business from my home at 46/460 in Durga Society. This is in Kandivali West. It is a regular residential building. I have been living and working here for quite a while. Most of my neighbors know me by now. I don't have a big staff or a storefront. It is just me in my room with a small table and my computer. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but I have gotten used to it. Kandivali is a crowded place, but Durga Society feels like home. I handle all the work myself. This includes taking calls and doing the actual tasks. I don't use any high-tech systems. A simple diary and a pen are what I use for my notes. It is a very humble way of doing things. I don't have any corporate slogans. I just try to finish my work on time. Sometimes clients come over to discuss things. We usually sit and have some tea while we talk. It is a very casual setup. I like it this way because I don't have to deal with a long commute. The society has a small gate and a watchman who knows me well. It is a quiet life and I am happy with how things are going. I just keep at it every day. I've been doing this for years, so I know the routine by heart now.
