Jindal Ltd

Jindal Ltd has been operating from Plot No-2 near the Marine Lines Station for quite a while now. Being so close to the station, we always hear the local trains passing by and the constant rush of people on their way to work. Our office is in an old building, the kind with high ceilings and fans that creak a bit. We don't have the flashy glass walls you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. It’s a busy place where we handle a lot of wholesale orders and paperwork for the metal trade. There are stacks of files everywhere and the desks are usually covered in ledger books and old pens. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It’s a lot of phone calls and coordinating with the yards where the actual stock is kept. We don't really do walk-in retail, it’s mostly business-to-business stuff that keeps us going from morning till evening. Sometimes the monsoon rains flood the street outside and we have to scramble to keep everything dry. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there, just trying to keep the business moving in this crowded part of town near the sea. It gets hectic with all the shouting and the noise from the station, but we’re used to it by now.
