Jerry Varghese International Ltd. operates as a human resource consultant. Our office is located in Kurla West, Mumbai, at G.K. Estate. It is actually in Mangru Seth Chawl, Room Number 2. If you know Kurla, you know it is a very busy, crowded part of the city with a lot of history. The chawl setting is very traditional Mumbai. It is not a glass skyscraper, but it is where we do our real work every day. We spend most of our time helping people find work overseas or locally. There is always someone coming in to ask about a job or drop off their papers. It gets pretty cramped in Room 2 when we have a few people waiting, but we make it work. The fan is usually humming and there is always the noise of the street outside. We have been doing this HR stuff for a long time now. It is a lot of responsibility because people are counting on us for their livelihoods. We don't use big words or fancy talk. We just tell people what the situation is and try to help them out. Being in G.K. Estate means we are right in the thick of things. It is a practical office for a practical job. We know the local area well and the people who live here. Jerry Varghese International Ltd. is just a group of us working hard in a small corner of Kurla West.
