Jayesh Auto Batteries is situated at Kashimira Srivastav Niwas, which is quite close to the MIDC area. If you work in the industrial zone, you probably pass by us all the time. Our shop is mostly filled with stacks of heavy batteries for cars, trucks, and bikes. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. There is always a bit of grease on the counters and the smell of lead and acid is just something you get used to after a few days. I spend my time testing old batteries or showing people the new ones we have in stock. People usually come to us when they are in a bit of a hurry because their vehicle won't start, so things can get a bit stressful. I try to work fast to get them back on the road. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just a practical space where we store what we need. Living and working near MIDC means we see a lot of transport vehicles and workers all day long. It’s a hardworking neighborhood and we fit right in. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small for all the stock we have, but we make it work. It’s a straightforward business, really. You need a battery, you come here, and we find one that fits. That is the way we’ve always done things at Srivastav Niwas.
