Our shop is located at 23/27 in 5th Kumbharwada. If you know Mumbai, you know Kumbharwada is famous for metal and hardware. It is a maze of narrow lanes and small shops stacked on top of each other. We have been here for years, dealing with tubes of all shapes and sizes. The space is small, but we use every inch of it. We have pipes leaning against the walls and stacked in the back. It is a bit of a squeeze when a big delivery comes in. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and talking to the transporters. It is a dusty, loud area, but there is a lot of energy. We do not have a website or a fancy logo. People just know Jaydeep Tubes is in the 5th lane. We know most of the other shop owners around here too. Sometimes we sit on plastic stools outside when the shop gets too hot. We deal with a lot of walk-in customers and people from the nearby industries. It is hard work, especially in the monsoon when the lanes get flooded, but we stay open. We do not do much else besides tubes. It is what we know. The paperwork is kept in a small wooden desk near the front. It is an old-school way of doing business, but it is how we like it. We just keep moving and making sure the orders are filled without making any big scene about it.
