Jaybee Shah Exim

Jaybee Shah Exim has been operating from the 2nd floor of the Hanuman Building for quite a while. Our address is 33/a Hanuman Building on Perin Nariman Street. It’s a very old part of town and the building has a lot of history. The stairs are quite steep and there’s no lift, so we get plenty of exercise every day. We handle export and import work, mostly dealing with all the complicated paperwork that comes with it. The street downstairs is always full of people and noise, but up here on the second floor, it’s a bit more peaceful. Our office is very simple. We have some old wooden furniture and a few filing cabinets that are overflowing with records. We don’t believe in wasting money on fancy decorations. We just focus on the work itself. It’s a small team, just me and a couple of helpers. We’ve known most of our customers for a long time, so it feels more like working with friends. We don’t do any big promotions or advertising. People know where we are and what we do. We just try to stay on top of things and make sure we don't miss any deadlines. Sometimes it’s a lot of pressure, but we manage. We like the old-school way of doing things. It’s honest work and it keeps us going day after day.
