Jay Veeramdev Metal Industries

Our shop, Jay Veeramdev Metal Industries, is located at B-8, Bharat Nagar on Grant Road. If you’ve ever been to Grant Road, you know how loud and busy it gets. It’s a constant stream of people and vehicles. We work with various metals here. The machines are old but they still work perfectly fine. It gets very hot in the summer, especially near the back where we do the heavy work. We usually have the fans going full blast, but it doesn't do much. There are piles of metal scraps and sheets everywhere you look. We have to be careful where we step. Most of the people working here have been friends for a long time. We don't use any fancy management software; we just write things down in a big ledger book. It’s worked for us so far. Grant Road has a lot of character, and we like being in Bharat Nagar. There is always a place to get good snacks nearby. We don't do much in terms of promotion. People just know where we are. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the traffic and the machines just to hear each other. It’s physical work and your hands get dirty by ten in the morning. At the end of the day, we just lock up the heavy metal shutters and head home. It’s a real place with real people doing hard work.
