Jay Steel Corporation

Jay Steel Corporation is located at Shop No. 1 in the Old Hira Building. We are right on the 1st Parsiwada lane, just off Khetwadi Main Road. It’s a tight squeeze in this part of town. The streets are narrow and there’s always something going on outside the shop door. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It’s an old place with a lot of character, and maybe a few cracks in the walls. We mostly sell steel rods, sheets, and various hardware. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to stand when a new delivery comes in. We know most of the people on the street. It’s a community feel around here. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just open the shutter in the morning and wait for customers to walk in. Most of the day is spent measuring out steel or loading it onto small carts for transport. It’s dusty and heavy work. My father used to run things similarly. We don't see a need to change much. We just provide the steel that the local builders and workshops need. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting on the stools near the entrance having some chai. It's just how we do things here and it works for us. Simple and steady.
