Jay Jyoti Steel Industries

Jay Jyoti Steel Industries is located in the Kolsa Building. We are on the first floor, Office No. 18. This is right in the middle of 3rd Kumbharwada Lane. If you know this area, you know it's all about metal and hard work. The street is Dr. M. G. Mahimtura Marg. It is loud here. You can hear the sound of steel being moved and cut all day long. Our office is small and filled with papers and samples of different grades of steel. We don't have a showroom. It's just a place where we manage the orders. We deal with steel all the time. It’s heavy and cold, but it’s what we know. The building is old. It has that smell of iron and dust that never really goes away no matter how much we clean. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just try to get the steel to the people who need it for their projects. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to laborers. It’s a busy life in Kumbharwada. You have to watch where you walk because the lanes are so thin. We’ve been here for many years. We know all the neighbors. We just focus on our stock and making sure things are moving. It’s not a glamorous job. It’s just working with steel. That is what we do.
