Jay Fabricator

Jay Fabricator is located down in Bhandup West on Hill Road. We are in Gala Number 1, near the Shree Ram Surat area. It’s a gritty part of town where people actually make things with their hands. Our workshop is filled with pieces of iron, welding machines, and the smell of cut metal. We mostly do gates, grills, and small structural work for buildings nearby. It’s loud, and there are always sparks flying somewhere in the shop. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. We don't have a website or anything like that. People usually just walk in or call us because they saw our work at a neighbor’s house. The gala is a bit small, so we often have to do the bigger assembly work out on the edge of the road when it’s not too busy. Bhandup has changed a lot, but this street still feels the same. We have a couple of helpers who are good with the torch. We don't use fancy blueprints, just some chalk marks on the floor and a tape measure. It’s physical, tiring work, especially in the summer heat with the welding masks on. But there’s a certain satisfaction when a heavy gate is finished and fits perfectly. We just keep doing what we know, one job at a time, right here on Hill Road for whoever needs a bit of metalwork.
