Jawahar Rubber Udyog is our family-run operation located at B9 in the Sai Pooja Industrial Estate. This is in the Bhandup West part of the city, and if you’re looking for us, we are situated right behind the local BMC School. The industrial estate is a noisy, busy place where there is always something being moved or loaded onto a truck. Our unit is purely for production and storage. You won't find any fancy carpets or air-conditioned waiting rooms here. It’s a place of work, with machines and the smell of raw materials in the air. We’ve been operating from this same spot for many years, and we’ve seen plenty of other businesses come and go. We stay focused on our usual routine and just keep things moving. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner where we take phone calls. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the activity in the estate, but we don’t mind. We don't have a team of sales people or a marketing budget. Most of our work comes from long-time contacts and people who know we’ve been here forever. We start our day early, usually before the heat gets too bad, and we keep going until the day's orders are packed and ready. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially during the monsoon, but it’s where we belong. We just focus on doing a solid day’s work without any unnecessary complications.
