Jatin Steel

Jatin Steel is located at Shop 63/5, right near the old Bombay Talkies area in Malad West. We are part of the Atmadarsan Society, sitting just across from the local Davakhana. This shop has been here for a bit, selling various steel items to people in the neighborhood. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things carefully to make sure everything fits. When you walk in, you’ll see stacks of pipes and sheets leaning against the walls. We get all sorts of customers, from small contractors to guys just looking for a bit of metal to fix something at home. It’s a busy part of Malad, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming through the door. I spend most of my time checking inventory and making sure we have what people ask for. We don’t do anything fancy here. It’s just about having the right steel in stock when someone needs it. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and things get a bit chaotic, but we manage to get things sorted out eventually. People around here know us as the local spot for steel. We keep regular hours and try to help out whoever walks in. It’s a honest living and we’ve been doing it this way since we first opened the doors. It’s a bit dusty and crowded, but it’s our way of doing business in Malad.
