Japs

We are located over at Ganga Bhavan on J.P Road in Versova. It’s right there in Mumbai. Japs is just a small operation running out of room A/A/32. If you’ve ever been to Versova, you know it has its own vibe, kind of salty air and lots of people everywhere. Our office is pretty simple. We have a few desks and some shelves that are probably too full of papers. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. We just come in every morning, fight through the Mumbai traffic, and get to work. Sometimes we walk down towards the water during lunch just to get some air. The building is an older one, and the elevator works when it wants to. We don’t mind though. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. There isn't any big corporate structure here. It’s just a few of us handling whatever comes our way. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with deadlines marked in red. It gets a bit chaotic when multiple things happen at once, but we figure it out. It’s just a regular Mumbai business trying to stay on top of things in a busy city. It isn't always perfect, but we like the pace of things here in Versova and the way we can just focus on what needs doing.
