Janata Cold Drink

Janata Cold Drink is our small place in Fort. You can find us at Shop No 15/B in Building No 181. It is very close to the Jain Temple, so a lot of people walk past us every day. Mumbai gets really hot, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the fridge running all the time. We have all kinds of cold drinks here. Sometimes it gets crowded when the office workers come out for their break. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is old but it stays cool enough inside. Most days we are just busy stocking the bottles and making sure everything is cold for the customers. It is not a very big shop, just a regular place where you can get something to drink and stand in the shade for a bit. The temple nearby brings in a lot of families too on the weekends. We open early in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the Fort traffic, but we manage to keep the crates full. If you are walking around near the temple and need a water or a soda, that is what we do. It is just a simple business run by regular people who know the neighborhood well. We do not have fancy chairs or anything, just a counter and the coolers. It stays pretty loud with the cars outside.
