You can find us over at Nilgiri Apartment in Malad West. It’s where we handle all our steel business. We don't have a big fancy office because most of our work involves moving metal and dealing with construction folks. The space we have is practical and gets the job done. We spend a lot of time on our mobiles or checking the computer for prices and orders. Malad West has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. People come to us when they need steel for various projects, big or small. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of tons of material. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty from all the activity, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with industrial supplies. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the steel gets to where it needs to be on time. Usually, there are a few of us here arguing about the best way to load a truck or looking over some blueprints. It’s a regular neighborhood business. We know the other shop owners nearby and we see the same faces every week. It’s a steady pace of work. We show up, we handle the steel, and we go home. That’s been the routine for as long as I can remember.
