Jaiswal Auto Parts

We've been here at Shop No 2 in Gorakha Chawl for a good while now. It's right near Jawahar Cinema on the main road in Mulund West. Most people know us because they pass by Kudlu Gate every day. The shop isn't fancy or anything, but we keep a lot of different parts on the shelves. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, especially being so close to Hosur Main Road, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our time looking through catalogs or climbing up ladders to find that one specific bolt or filter someone needs for their car. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's quiet, but the doors are open. We know the regulars by name and they know where to find us. If we don't have something, we usually know where to get it or when the next delivery is coming in. It's a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything sits. People stop in when their vehicle is making a noise or if they just need a spare bulb. It’s just us working here, trying to make sure the inventory is right. No big speeches or anything, just a local auto parts shop doing what we do every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and a quick sweep of the front step.
