Jai Shree Ram Transport Company

Our office is located at 106 Keshavji Naik Road which is right near the Chindh Masjid. This part of Mumbai is always packed with people and handcarts moving everywhere. It is a very old area and the streets are narrow and confusing for some. At Jai Shree Ram Transport Company we focus on getting goods moved across the city and sometimes further out. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to the laborers who do the heavy lifting of the bags and boxes. There is a lot of shouting and noise outside our window from the market nearby. We have a small cabin where we keep all the records of which truck went where. It gets very dusty with all the traffic passing by throughout the day. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works most of the time. We drink a lot of cutting chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. The transport business is mostly about solving problems when a truck breaks down or a road is closed for a festival. We don't use any high-tech systems, just our notebooks and our knowledge of the city roads. It's a tough environment but we have been here for a long time. Most of the jobs we get come from people who have used us before and know we just do the work.
