Jai Chamunda Flock Work

Our shop is tucked away in Sai Baba Estate, right near the Ganesh Hotel in Malad West. If you know Dmorte Lane, you know it can get pretty crowded with all the small units and workshops around here. We do flock work, which is basically putting that soft, fuzzy finish on different materials. It’s messy work sometimes, and there is always a bit of dust in the air, but that is just how the job goes. Opposite Szuki Plating is where you’ll find us. We have been here for years, and the neighbors all know us by now. It isn't a showroom or anything like that. It’s a workspace where the machines run most of the day. Sometimes things get backed up when there are too many orders, but we just put our heads down and get through it. Malad is a busy place to do business, and being near Marve Road means there is always someone coming or going. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; people usually find us because someone else told them where we are. We handle the pieces manually, checking the texture and making sure the glue holds like it should. It’s a simple operation, run by people who have been doing this for a long time. The heat can get a bit much in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. We aren't perfect, but we stay busy and the work gets finished eventually.
