Working at Jai Ambe Steel India means spending a lot of time around heavy metal and trucks. We are based out of Kandivali West, near Hosur Road 11. It's a busy spot for trade and logistics. The yard is usually full of inventory and there is always a layer of dust on everything, which is just part of the job when you deal with steel. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just a reliable one for the people who need material for their projects. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed because of the traffic on Hosur Road, but we try to manage as best as we can. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of metal clanging and people shouting orders over the engines. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner. It's mostly just a desk with a lot of paperwork and a phone that rings quite a bit. The guys working here have been with us for years, so we all know how the system works. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves most of the time. It is physical work and it can be tiring when the sun is out, but that is just how the steel business is. We stay focused on the orders we have and making sure the counts are right before anything leaves the gate. It's simple, tough work for regular people.
