J. P. Steel

J. P. Steel is tucked away in Shop No. 1 of the R.K. Wadi Building. We are on 2nd Parsiwada Lane. It’s right opposite the V.P. Road Police Station, so we are pretty easy to find if you know that landmark. The shop is small but it’s packed with stuff. We’ve been here at J. P. Steel for a good many years now. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening on the street outside. We handle steel orders for a lot of the local builders and small shops. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of measuring and cutting. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by trucks, and we have to help move things around. That's just how life is on 2nd Parsiwada Lane. We’ve got a lot of regulars who have been coming to us since we opened. They know we'll give them a straight answer. We keep our paperwork in a big old desk in the corner. It might look disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. J. P. Steel is just a local business trying to do things the right way. We're here every day except Sundays. Usually, we are cleaning up or sorting stock when there aren't customers around. It’s steady work.
