J P Enterpries

Our place is right on Dhobi Street, along Narayannagar Road. J P Enterpries has been operating here for a good bit now. It’s a busy road, so there’s always something happening outside the front door. We handle a variety of items, mostly supply stuff that local businesses need. It’s not a huge setup, just a couple of rooms filled with stock and a small counter for customers. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs something, they call or walk in, and we check the back. The building is older, but it stays cool in the summer which is nice. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and making sure we have enough on the shelves for the regulars. It’s a lot of paperwork and heavy lifting, but we’re used to it. My cousin helps out when things get backed up. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick around Narayannagar. You get to know the people on the street after a while. It feels like home even when it’s chaotic with deliveries arriving. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, making sure the orders go out as they should. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving boxes around, but we know these supplies are important for the people buying them. We plan to stay on Dhobi Street for many more years to come.
