Our place is in Johnson House on M G Cross Road in Kandivali West. We are situated quite close to the Shiv Sena office, which is the main landmark everyone uses to find us. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of small shops and people walking by at all hours. We handle different kinds of metal work and keep a lot of our inventory right here in the building. Johnson House is an older structure, so it has a bit of character, for better or worse. The rooms are a bit tight when we have a lot of stock, but we manage. We spend most of our time sorting through metal parts or talking to people who drop by with requirements. It’s a very local feel here. We know the guys at the tea stall and the other business owners on the cross road. There isn't any fancy management or corporate layers. If there’s a problem, we just fix it. The work can be heavy and tiring, especially when the weather is hot, but we’re used to it. We keep our doors open and try to stay on top of the daily tasks. It’s just a regular metal business in a regular part of Kandivali. We don't try to be anything else. Just a team of people doing their jobs every day in a crowded, lively part of the city. We've been here for years and know how to get things done.
