Our workshop is situated at Unit No-19/14, F-1, within the Seksaria Industrial Estate. This is over in Chincoli Bunder, just off S.V. Road in Malad West. It is a very busy part of the city, and the industrial estate itself is always full of activity. You can hear the sounds of machinery and trucks moving all day long. J. M. D has been tucked away in this corner for a while. The unit is functional and fits everything we need, even if it feels a little cramped when a new shipment arrives. The walls have some scuffs and the floor is a bit worn, but that is expected in an industrial area like this. We spend most of our hours here dealing with the day's requirements. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have a few fans going to keep the air moving. S.V. Road is always a bit of a challenge with the traffic, so we are used to the noise and the constant movement outside. We are just a small group of people working hard. There are no fancy offices or air-conditioned showrooms here. It is just a place for practical work. We know our neighbors in the other units, and there is a sense of everyone just getting on with their own business. It isn't a glamorous spot, but it serves us well and we have grown quite used to the rhythm of the estate over the years.
