J. M. Baxi & Co. is based on the second floor of the Sapt Building. You can find us at 18 J.N. Heredia Marg in the Ballard Estate area. This part of town has a very specific look, with all the old stone buildings and wide streets. Our office fits right into that atmosphere. It’s a solid building, and being on the second floor means we aren't too far from the street level. Inside, it’s just a regular workplace. We have our desks set up and plenty of files stacked around. We aren't into the whole "corporate image" thing. We’re just a group of people who know our way around the shipping world. Ballard Estate is a nice place to work, even if parking is a nightmare most days. We spend a lot of time talking to clients and handling the paperwork that comes with moving goods. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. The Sapt Building has been around for a long time, and our office has that lived-in feel. We don’t have a fancy reception area with someone offering you sparkling water. You just come in and find whoever is available. We believe in just doing the job without a lot of extra fluff. It’s a practical, honest way to run things. We’ve been here for years, and we plan to stay here for many more, just doing what we do best from our second-floor spot.
