J. K. Fabricators. We’re located at Plot No-1, right near Sony Cables in Andheri East. This part of Mumbai is always moving fast. The shop is nestled in an industrial patch where everyone is trying to get things done. It’s often cramped because we have a lot of materials stacked up. We work with iron and steel mostly. The sound of the grinding wheels is the background music of our day. Being near Sony Cables makes it easy to give people directions. Andheri East can be a maze, but we are right at the start of our little lane. It gets humid inside, so we keep the big doors open most of the time. We aren’t really into fancy brochures or anything. People usually walk in with a rough drawing or an idea of what they want. We talk it through, give a price, and start working. Sometimes things take a bit longer if a machine acts up, but we always finish it. It’s a grit-and-sweat kind of business. We’ve seen the area change, new buildings going up everywhere. But our plot stays pretty much the same. We have our tea from the stall nearby and keep the sparks flying. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till late. If you’re in the area and need something welded, you’ll see our sign. We don't make it complicated. We just build what's needed and move to the next.
