Our place is at number 54 in Mandvi, right near the Masjid Bunder station. If you know that area, you know how packed it is with people and heavy goods. This building is old, and we’ve been here for a while now. Inside, it’s all about metal. We have heavy pieces of industrial parts stacked up everywhere. The air always feels a bit heavy with the smell of grease and iron. We use old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work perfectly for what we need. It’s a very busy environment. We are constantly loading things onto carts or helping drivers back their small trucks into the narrow space. There’s no air conditioning here, just a few ceiling fans that move the dust around. We don’t have time for fancy talk or decorative setups. Most of the day is spent checking dimensions and moving heavy loads. My clothes usually have a few holes from the metal edges, and everyone’s hands are stained. We handle a lot of bulk orders for different industries. It’s a lot of shouting over the noise just to hear each other. We eat our lunch on the crates when we get a break. It’s a tough location to work in because of the crowd, but we are used to the rhythm of Masjid Bunder.
