Ispat Steel Syndicate

We have been around Baroda Street on Vasavi Mahal Road for quite a while now. Running Ispat Steel Syndicate is what we do every day. It is mostly just us handling the orders and making sure the metal gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy, but that is just part of working with steel. People stop by the shop because they know where we are. It isn't a fancy setup. We just have the stuff stacked up and ready. There is a lot of lifting and moving things around. The traffic on Vasavi Mahal Road can be a pain in the mornings, but we are usually here early anyway. We deal with all sorts of bits and pieces, mostly heavy stuff. It is dusty work. If you walk down Baroda Street, you will see our sign. We do not spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in needing things for their building projects. We know most of the regulars by name now. It is a straightforward business. We keep the stock moving and try to stay organized, though it does not always look like it to an outsider. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we are still right here doing the same thing. It is a lot of hard work, but it keeps us busy.
