Ispat Industries

Working out of Mahim at Sanghvi Majestic on Manmala Tank Road has its ups and downs. The traffic around Mumbai is always something to talk about in the mornings. Ispat Industries has a small space here on the third floor. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of files to move around. We are surrounded by other businesses and the usual city noise that never really stops. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have those high-rise views you see in movies, but we see the real streets of Mumbai every day. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination and making sure the supplies are moving where they need to go. It is mostly just a few of us sitting around desks, handling the logistics of the metal industry. We’ve known the neighbors for years. Sometimes we share a bit of news over the balcony or in the hallway. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have some old furniture and some newer computers, and that’s about it. The location is convenient for getting around the city, even if the road gets crowded during the peak hours. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. It’s a humble spot for a business that’s been around the block a few times. We just do our bit and go home at the end of the day without making any noise.
