International City Links

We are over at Mumbai Central. The address is 1St Main Road, 18/264. It’s a very busy area because it is so near the station. International City Links has been in this building for quite some time now. The walls are painted a dull yellow color. We should probably repaint them, but we never seem to get around to it. There are always too many other things to do. We spend our days on the phone or typing away. It’s not very exciting work. We don’t have a big board with a mission statement on it. We just have a calendar and some old clocks. Time goes by pretty fast when you’re busy. The rain can be a real problem in this part of town. The streets flood a little bit every monsoon. We just wear our boots and keep going. We don’t have fancy lunches at restaurants. Usually, we just bring a dabba from home. It’s cheaper and it tastes better anyway. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our bit and go home at the end of the day. People stop by to ask for directions sometimes because we’re right on the main road. We don’t mind helping out at all. It’s just how things are in Mumbai. You help when you can. We’ve got a lot of old files in the back.
