You can find Industrial Metal (India) at Industrial House, 80/82, 1St Khetwadi Lane. It's one of those old buildings where everyone knows each other. We’ve been handling metal supplies here for a long time. The space is a bit cramped because metal takes up so much room and it’s heavy. We have stacks of different materials all over the place. Sometimes it feels like a maze in here. We deal with a lot of different people, from small workshops to bigger contractors. They usually come in with a list of what they need and we see what we have in stock. If we don’t have it, we try to figure out where to get it. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around. My back feels it at the end of the week. Khetwadi is a busy area, lots of noise and people moving about. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and someone will help you out once they finish what they're doing. We keep a ledger and try to stay on top of the numbers. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. We don't really do anything fancy here, just metal and hard work. The fans run all day in the summer but it still gets hot. We just get on with it and try to keep the orders moving. It’s been our way of doing things for years and it works well enough for everyone involved here.
