Indu Metal Products

Indu Metal Products is on the 3rd floor of the Municipal Industrial Estate. The address is 123 Bapty Road, near Parshuram Pupala Marg in Grant Road. Being on the third floor is a bit of a pain when we have to move heavy metal stock up and down. The lift is old and sometimes it feels like it won't make it. The estate itself is quite old and crowded with all sorts of small businesses. It is a very Mumbai kind of place—cramped, busy, and always someone shouting in the hallway. We work with various metals and the shop is usually full of the sound of grinding and banging. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you have to come up the stairs and walk through the workshop. There are scraps of metal everywhere and it is definitely not a place for nice clothes. We have been here for a long time and the landlord knows us well. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for decades. We don't use social media or anything. We just answer the phone and do the work that comes in. It is a gritty, honest way to make a living in the heart of the city. We just focus on the metal and making sure the dimensions are right for the client.
