Indra English High School And Jr College

Indra English High School and Jr College is located on the 30 Feet Road in Indira Nagar, Mandala. This is in the Mankhurd area of Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy and crowded things can get. Our school is right in the thick of it. We have students ranging from the younger ones in high school up to the junior college level. The building is several stories high to make the most of the limited space we have. It can get very loud in the hallways when the bell rings and everyone is moving between classes. We are surrounded by other houses and small shops, so it feels very much like a part of the local community. The 30 Feet Road is always moving with people and vehicles. Inside, the rooms are filled with benches and we have boards for the teachers to write on. It isn't a luxury institution, just a solid place for kids to get their education. We spend a lot of time trying to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city outside. There is always some paperwork to do or a parent waiting to ask a question at the desk. We don't have a big staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it's fixing a light or helping a student with their forms. It is a busy, hardworking school in a busy part of town.
