The office is on the first floor of the Mistry Building, right opposite the Fuwara in Bhat Bazar. If you know the Masjid area, you know how busy it gets with all the handcarts and trucks moving around. We spend most of our mornings organizing the crews and making sure we have enough cardboard boxes and tape for the day's moves. Moving people's stuff is a lot of work and it can be quite stressful for them, so we just try to keep things moving along. Our stairs are a bit narrow, which is common for these old buildings in Masjid Bunder, so we are always hauling supplies up and down. We deal with a lot of bubble wrap and old newspapers for packing. Some days we are moving a whole household and other times it is just a few office desks. The traffic around here is a nightmare sometimes, especially near the Masjid station side, so timing the trucks is the hardest part of the job. We have been doing this for a long time now. We've seen all kinds of furniture and boxes. The building we are in is old and has a lot of character, even if it is a bit cramped. We just keep our files in order and make sure the guys know where they are going for the next pickup. It is a lot of phone calls and checking addresses all day long.
