We are tucked away in Mumbai, at 601 Blaze View A. It’s off Ceaser Road Crosslane 1, in the Amboli area of Andheri West. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy and packed Andheri is every single day. Our office is on the sixth floor, so we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice in the humidity. We handle the gratings business from here. It’s more of an administrative spot than a factory, so it’s quieter than our workshops. The elevators are sometimes slow, so we end up waiting around a lot in the lobby. The office is small and filled with samples of metal and stacks of invoices that need sorting. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the local area. It’s a very practical space. The traffic on Ceaser Road is usually a nightmare, so we try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. We’re just a small team trying to keep up with the demands of the city projects. We don’t use a lot of big words or corporate speak. We just talk to our customers like normal people. Most of us take the local train to work, so we’re always checking the time to catch the fast one. It’s a busy, cramped, but functional office. We don't have a big breakroom, just a small corner for the kettle.
