Indian Metal Tubes

You can find us over on Copper Smith Street at Dockyard Road, right behind the old Star Cinema. This area has a lot of history, and you can still feel that old Mumbai vibe in the narrow streets around B.P.T. Plot No. 345/19. The sound of the ships and the activity from the nearby docks is always present in the background. Our building is squeezed in among many others that have been part of the metal trade for decades. We handle a lot of different tubes, and because the street is so tight, getting large deliveries in can be a real struggle sometimes. We often have to coordinate with the neighbors to make sure the road isn't blocked for too long. The office is small and usually quite cluttered with old samples and stacks of paper, but we know where everything is. There is a certain smell here, a mix of the salty sea air and the metallic scent of our stock. We don't have any high-tech systems, just a lot of experience and a few good sets of hands to move the pipes around. The Star Cinema serves as a great landmark for people trying to find us for the first time because the street names can be a bit confusing. It is a busy, gritty part of town, but it is where the real work happens. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the daily tasks done before the evening rush starts.
