India Coffee Deepo

Our shop is at 395, B & C Lamington Road, right near the old Naaz Cinema. It’s a very busy part of town, near Churni Road and the Opera House area. There’s always someone shouting or a horn honking outside on the street. India Coffee Deepo has been in this spot for ages. The walls are a bit stained from years of coffee dust, and the floor is worn down where people stand to wait for their orders. We don't have any of those fancy espresso machines or milk steamers. We just have the big bins of beans and the grinders that make a lot of noise when they are running. It’s a small space, so it gets cramped when there are more than a few people inside at once. We spend our days measuring out bags and talking to the regulars who have been coming here since they were kids. We don't use any fancy packaging or labels. Just simple paper bags that do the job of holding the coffee. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when it’s hot outside and the grinders are running non-stop. We don't really have a big plan for the future, we just keep showing up and opening the shutters every morning. The area has changed a lot, with new shops opening and the cinema getting older, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s just a plain coffee shop for people who want their beans.
