Indair Carriers Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is situated in Solidor Corporate Park, Building 4, on the 6th floor. We are right on the Andheri Kurla Road in Chakala, Andheri (E). It’s a big corporate park, so it feels a bit different from a street-side shop, but inside our office, it’s just us working away. Indair Carriers Pvt. Ltd. deals with air freight and moving cargo by plane. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding area, which is mostly just more buildings and a lot of traffic. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because Mumbai gets so humid. We spend our days tracking flights and making sure the paperwork for the carriers is all in order. It’s a lot of data entry and talking to people at the airport. The corporate park has its own cafeteria and stuff, but we usually just eat at our desks when things get busy. Chakala is a very commercial spot, so there’s always something happening outside. We’ve got a good group of people here who have been doing this for a long time. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s steady. We just focus on getting the crates and boxes onto the planes. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the airlines, and sometimes there are delays that we have to deal with, but that’s just part of the air carrier business.
