You can find us at Imperial Imp. & Exp. over in the Navjivan Society on Lamington Road. Our specific spot is 3/10/21, which is part of this huge complex that’s always buzzing with activity. Lamington Road is famous for being a hub, and being right here means we are never far from the action. We handle a variety of import and export tasks throughout the week. It’s mostly about keeping track of what is coming in and what is going out. Our office is pretty simple, with enough room for our staff to sit and work through the daily paperwork. There are always people coming and going in the society, so it never feels quiet. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people at the docks or at various offices across the city. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for long. There is always some document that needs a signature or a box that needs checking. We try to keep things straightforward and don't worry too much about being fancy. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we need. Dealing with the traffic around here is probably the hardest part of the day, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We just get on with things and try to stay on top of the schedule as best as we can.
