Immense Handbags

Immense Handbags is located in the A-wing of the Kalapataru CHS on Sant Rohidas Marg, right in the Babu Jagjivanram Nagar area of Dharavi. We are on the ground floor at Plot 181, not too far from the Dharavi Road Gold Filled area. This place is where we spend all our time working with different materials to make handbags. Dharavi is a place where everyone is making something, and we are just a part of that. Our workspace is filled with rolls of fabric, thread, and half-finished bags. It isn't a showroom like you would find in a big mall; it is more of a practical place where the actual work happens. There is often the sound of machines running or people cutting material. We focus on making bags that people can use every day. We don't really have a marketing department or anything polished. We just make the bags, check the quality, and then they go out. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the location and the work we do, but that is just how it is here. The area is always alive with people moving around, and our shop at A-85 is part of that daily grind. We just keep our heads down and focus on the stitching and the designs that we know people in the city like to carry when they go to work.
