Ikya Human Capital Solution Ltd

Our base is over in Govandi East, a part of Mumbai that’s always full of life and a bit of chaos. We’ve been working out of this office for a while, dealing with the human capital side of things. It’s basically a lot of recruitment and helping people find their way into new jobs. The office itself is pretty plain. We have rows of desks with computers and phones that seem to ring all day long. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a movie, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking to candidates and trying to match them with what companies need. It’s a lot of data entry and phone calls. Sometimes the office gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We’ve got a small area where we have our lunch and drink tea. Govandi East has a lot of character, and we like being part of the local scene. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just come in every morning and start going through the pile of resumes. It’s practical, everyday work. We’ve seen the job market change quite a bit, but the basics of talking to people remain the same. We don’t try to sound like a big corporate machine. We’re just a bunch of people trying to help other people find work. It keeps us busy.
