Icici Life

Our office is over at A/14 in the B.M.C Building on Bapty Road. It’s right across from Siddhart Nager in Mumbai 8. We go by Icici Life. It’s a typical Mumbai office space, honestly. A bit noisy outside with all the street traffic, but we get used to it. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling life insurance stuff. We sit at our desks and go through files all day. The B.M.C Building is a well-known landmark around here, so most people don't have trouble finding us. We've got a small team. Everyone knows each other's habits by now. It’s not a flashy place, just functional. We have some fans going to keep the air moving. Mumbai 8 is a lively neighborhood to be in. We see people from all walks of life walking past the window. Some stop in to ask questions about their accounts or policies. We do what we can to help them out without making it too complicated. It’s a lot of data entry and phone calls. Sometimes the printers act up, but we fix them and keep going. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We’re just Icici Life on Bapty Road. It’s a decent enough spot to spend the workday. We’ve been here for a while and the routine stays pretty much the same. It’s just a job, but we take it seriously enough. We just get on with it day by day.
