Icfai University Mumbai has this particular office located way out in Muzaffarpur, which seems a bit confusing because of the name. It is at the house of Dr. B.N. Thakur in Kishore Nagar. The easiest way to find it is to look for Maharaja Furniture on Rewa Road; we are right near there in the Bhagwanpur area. It is basically a residential setup that we use for our administrative stuff. There isn't a big campus right here in this specific spot. It is more of a quiet office where the paperwork gets handled. The area is typical for Muzaffarpur, with narrow streets and plenty of local shops nearby. We sit in a room that looks out onto the street. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we keep the fans going. There are plenty of books and files around since it is an educational office. We don't have a cafeteria or anything like that. We just step out to the local tea stall if we need a break. Most of the day is spent answering questions from students or organizing documents. It is a very humble setup, not what people expect when they hear the word university. It is just a few of us working out of a house in Kishore Nagar, keeping things running as best as we can. It’s practical and it serves the purpose for what we need to do in this region.
