The office is at 113 on the Bajwada Main Road near the Fort area. It’s a very old part of town and the streets are quite narrow and crowded most of the time. We are an education consulting firm, so we see a lot of students coming in after their classes are over. The building is one of those traditional ones with high ceilings and small windows. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have a couple of old fans that do the job. There is always the sound of scooters and people shouting on the street outside. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful with all the files and books around. We help kids figure out where to go for their next degree and what forms they need to submit. It involves a lot of reading and checking dates. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just sit here and do the work as it comes. Sometimes the chai wala from downstairs brings us snacks when we have a long meeting. The front door is a bit heavy and squeaks when you open it. We’ve been thinking about fixing it for a year but never got around to it. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the city, but we like being where the action is. Most days we are here until late evening.
