I Bar

Running I Bar in Bandra West at 41463 has been an interesting journey. It’s not one of those polished places where you feel like you can’t touch anything. We keep it real. The lights are a bit dim because that's how people like it when they’re trying to unwind after a long shift at their own jobs. We have a small staff, mostly just me and a couple of guys who have been around for a long time. Bandra is always moving, always noisy, but inside here, it feels a bit different. We play music that we like, and luckily the customers usually like it too. We don’t have a big menu with fancy words nobody understands. It’s just drinks and some simple things to eat. The bar counter has a few scratches from over the years, but each one has a story, I guess. We spend a lot of time washing glasses and making sure the fridge is stocked for the weekend. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, or a bulb goes out right in the middle of a busy night. We just fix it and keep going. It’s a local spot for people who live nearby or work in the area. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Mumbai, just a decent bar where you can get a drink and talk without any pressure. We stay open late and sometimes we are the last ones on the street to turn off the lights.
